Terms of Use
Last updated: July 7, 2026
Welcome to Lawwly. Lawwly (“Lawwly,” “we,” “us”) is a study-aid service operated by Ngo Business Group LLC. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use Lawwly.
1. Accounts
Anyone with a valid email address may create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You may close your account at any time.
2. Subscriptions and billing
Lawwly offers a free tier that lets you read a limited number of briefs at no cost. Full access requires a paid subscription: $9.99 per month or $100 per year (prices in USD; applicable taxes may be added at checkout).
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing term using your payment method on file, at the then-current price, until you cancel. By subscribing you authorize these recurring charges.
3. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel at any time from your profile page via the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing term — you keep full access until then, and you are not charged again. We do not issue refunds for partial terms or unused time. See our Cancellation & Refunds policy for details.
4. Acceptable use
Lawwly is licensed to you for personal, individual study. You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download briefs or other content by any automated means.
- Copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly post the briefs.
- Share your account or login credentials with others.
- Attempt to circumvent access controls, paywalls, or usage limits.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without refund.
5. Not legal advice
Lawwly’s briefs and other content are educational study aids only. They are not legal advice, are not a substitute for reading your assigned cases or primary sources, and do not create an attorney-client relationship. Do not rely on Lawwly for any legal decision. Always consult a licensed attorney for advice about your situation.
6. Intellectual property
The briefs, text, design, and other materials on Lawwly are owned by or licensed to Ngo Business Group LLC and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the content for personal study while your account is in good standing.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Lawwly is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the content is error-free or complete.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ngo Business Group LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on Lawwly. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of Lawwly after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
