• Account information: your email address and, optionally, your name, which you provide when you sign up.
• Usage information: activity needed to operate the service, such as which briefs you have viewed (used to meter the free tier) and basic technical logs.
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number and payment details are entered on Stripe and never touch Lawwly’s servers. We receive only limited billing metadata (such as your subscription status and renewal date).

How we use your information

We use your information to create and secure your account, provide access to briefs, meter the free tier, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers (processors)

We rely on a small number of trusted processors to run Lawwly:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting of your account and usage records.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the site. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this section to describe what is collected and how to opt out.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us; we will delete it except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, billing records) by law.
