Zurstrassen v. Stonier

While Klaus Zurstrassen (plaintiff) was in Germany, his brother Rolf fraudulently conveyed Klaus's interest in two lots to Stonier (defendant), who then sold one lot to the Wihlborgs. Klaus sued to quiet title; Stonier and the Wihlborgs argued Klaus was estopped from claiming title because of a prior agreement in which Klaus acknowledged title in Rolf's name.

Whether a forged deed can still transfer title if the party who lost title due to the forgery was unaware of the forgery.
