Wagenblast v. Odessa School District

Several Washington school districts, including Odessa (defendant), required student-athletes and their parents to sign forms releasing the district from liability for ordinary negligence connected to interscholastic activities. Wagenblast and other students (plaintiffs) sued for a declaration that these releases were invalid; the trial court ruled for the district.
