Waddell v. L.V.R.V. Inc.

The Waddells (plaintiffs) bought an RV from Wheeler's (defendant) that suffered chronic engine overheating and other problems; over 18 months the RV spent seven months in the shop for largely unsuccessful repairs. The Waddells, who had planned to travel in the RV for two to three years, sued for revocation of acceptance, and the district court ruled in their favor.

Whether a buyer may revoke his acceptance of nonconforming goods if the nonconformity substantially impairs the value of the goods to the buyer.
