Stadish v. Superior Court

After responding to Lyn's document request with attorney-client and work-product objections and providing boxes of documents plus a privilege log, the Gas Company (defendant) later refused to let plaintiffs' counsel's associate Endres copy the selected documents once it learned of his past activism against the company, asserting for the first time a trade-secret privilege; the Gas Company also never responded at all to Joseph's separate document request. The trial court denied the plaintiffs' motion to compel and granted the Gas Company's protective-order motion.
