Sedmak v. Charlie's Chevrolet, Inc.

The Sedmaks (plaintiffs) put down a deposit at Charlie's Chevrolet (defendant) for one of a small production run of limited-edition Corvette Pace Cars, with sales manager Kells ordering the upgrades Mrs. Sedmak requested; when the car arrived, Charlie's refused to sell at the originally discussed price, citing surging demand that had inflated the car's value, and instead invited the Sedmaks to bid, which they declined. The Sedmaks sued for specific performance, and the trial court granted it.
