Porreco v. Red Top RV Center

During settlement talks in their long-pending suit against Red Top RV Center and Citicorp (defendants), the Porrecos (plaintiffs) signed a stipulation referencing California's Judicial Arbitration Act, agreeing to apply court rules and waiving their right to a de novo trial after arbitration; Citicorp later moved to dismiss the underlying court action because the Porrecos had not brought the case to trial within five years of filing, and the trial court granted the motion.
