Polycast Technology Corp. v. Uniroyal, Inc.

After Polycast (plaintiff) alleged Uniroyal (defendant) provided misleading financial information about a subsidiary Uniroyal sold to it, Uniroyal deposed Deloitte partner Michael Bowman about an audit, but gaps remained due to his inability to recall every detail; Uniroyal then sought to depose another Deloitte employee, Gregory Durant, who was also involved with the audit, and Deloitte moved for a protective order barring that second deposition.
