People v. Darcy

Darcy (defendant), a naturalized citizen born in Ukraine under the name Srool Adam Dardeck who had used several name variants, falsely listed his name as "Sam Darcy" and his birthplace as New York on a voter-registration affidavit, leading to his perjury conviction; he appealed, arguing his true name and birthplace were immaterial to his eligibility to register, since he was in fact eligible to vote as a naturalized citizen regardless.
