Attorney Chappell (respondent), representing a wife in a custody dispute, advised her client to flee the state with their son rather than accept an unfavorable custody recommendation, telling her "as her attorney to stay, but as a mother to run," helped her access underground safehouses and empty bank accounts, and later accepted continued support payments from the husband while knowing her client was in hiding; Chappell did not respond to the resulting disciplinary grievance, resulting in a default admitting all factual allegations, and the disciplinary board and panel recommended disbarment.
