Morrow v. Morrow
Oklahoma Court of Appeals
612 P.2d 730 (1980)
Warren and Betty Morrow (plaintiffs) claimed Warren's sibling Woodye Morrow had agreed that, if the plaintiffs cared for Warren and Woodye's ailing mother, Woodye would sell certain mineral interests upon the mother's death, pay the plaintiffs for their services, and divide the remainder among the mother's heirs; Woodye instead conveyed the mineral rights to her son Dennis Morrow (defendant). The plaintiffs sued to recover for their caregiving services and to set aside the conveyance to Dennis, and the District Court denied the services claim but ordered the mineral conveyance set aside and its proceeds distributed evenly among the mother's heirs.
