Morone v. Morone

Mrs. Morone (plaintiff) and Mr. Morone (defendant), though never married, lived together as spouses for over 25 years with two children, during which Mrs. Morone performed domestic duties under an alleged oral agreement that Mr. Morone would provide for her and split his business earnings; Mrs. Morone sued to recover those earnings under both an express and an implied contract theory. The trial court dismissed both claims, the appellate court affirmed, and Mrs. Morone appealed.
