Matter of S-K-

S-K- (petitioner), a Christian member of Burma's ethnic Chin minority whose fiancé was killed by the ruling military junta, donated money for 11 months and attempted to donate goods to the Chin National Front (CNF), an organization fighting for ethnic Chin freedom in Burma; after learning the military discovered her support, she fled to the United States seeking asylum. The immigration judge found she otherwise qualified for asylum but denied it because she materially supported an organization using firearms and explosives to endanger safety or damage property, and she appealed.
