Henley v. Continental Cablevision of St. Louis County, Inc.

Subdivision trustees (plaintiffs) had conveyed easements in gross to a telephone company and an electric utility for poles and wires serving residents. Continental Cablevision (defendant) later obtained licenses from those utilities to use the same easements, adding wires to provide television service. The trustees sought an injunction to force removal of the cable wires.

Whether the holder of an easement in gross for a particular purpose may share the easement with a television company for a similar purpose.
