Heino v. Harper

Dorothy Heino (plaintiff) was a passenger in a car driven by her husband, Arno Heino (defendant), when he turned left into an oncoming car, causing a head-on collision. She sued him for negligence. He moved to dismiss under the doctrine of interspousal immunity. The trial court dismissed and the court of appeals affirmed; Dorothy appealed to the Oregon Supreme Court.
