Edouard v. Kozubal

Edouard (plaintiff) leased an apartment from Kozubal (defendant), who over the tenancy asked her out in exchange for a reduced deposit, repeatedly called her with sexually suggestive requests to "help" him, slapped her buttocks, groped her breasts and nipples, pushed her to the ground, and attempted to rape her in the building. After Edouard obtained a restraining order, Kozubal violated it by confronting her and offering to let her stay rent-free for the rest of her lease if she dropped the case.
