Bush v. Holmes

Florida's Opportunity Scholarship Program (OSP) let students at failing public schools either transfer to a better public school or receive the state's per-student funding as a voucher toward private school tuition; organizations and parents (plaintiffs) sued the state (defendant), arguing the voucher option violated the Florida Constitution's education clause, and after several rounds of appeal, the Florida Supreme Court took up the case.
