Abo Petroleum Corporation v. Amstutz

The Turknetts executed 1908 deeds giving life estates to their daughters with remainders to the daughters' heirs. Later deeds purported to convey absolute (full) title. Abo Petroleum Corporation (plaintiff) bought the properties from the daughters, but the daughters' children (defendants) claimed they still held the contingent remainders created by the original deeds.

Whether a contingent remainder is destroyed if the prior estate terminates before the contingency occurs.
