Good news for a change for many major Massachusetts law firms since the pandemic in March.

We’ve come a long way since the days of pay cuts and shutdowns for big law firms as a result of the pandemic.
Here’s some good news for a change.
Ropes & Gray
On October 20, Ropes and Gray was awarded the “Licensing & Collaboration Firm of the Year” and “Impact Deal of the Year” as a result of their work with Sarepta Therapeutics.
Ropes and Gray facilitated a licensing agreement with Roche valued at $1.15 billion. Additionally, antitrust partner and practice chair Mark Popofsky of Washington D.C. was awarded the “Antitrust Litigator of the Year.”
As a result, Ropes and Gray has been awarded with a total of three LMG Life Sciences Awards for 2020. Ropes and Gray continues to hold the position of the top law firm in the Life Sciences space.
Goulston & Storrs
On October 14, Am Law 200 firm Goulston & Storrs has launched its College Sports Law Practice to assist colleges and universities navigate the legal landscape during the pandemic.
The firm has recruited two high-profile sports professionals to consult and is putting together a winning and diverse team to lead the practice.
Murphy & King
Massachusetts law firm Murphy & King brings nine new Super Lawyers to the 2020 Massachusetts Super Lawyers List, as well as two new selections to the 2020 Massachusetts Rising Stars list.
The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers Magazines and leading city and regional magazine and newspaper companies across the country.

Robinson+Cole
