The Boston Lawyers Group (BLG) announced the date of its Annual Diversity Job Fair.
All of our law student readers are encouraged to register.
The job fair will take place virtually on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Participating organizations are given an opportunity to select and interview applicants from a nationwide pool of qualified students of color.
This is the biggest event of the year for the Boston Lawyers Group, and students are encouraged to interview.
This year, as a result of the pandemic, the job fair will take place virtually. Students selected for interviews are invited to a pre-job fair networking reception as well on Monday, January 4, 2021.
BLG’s mission is to support the efforts of its member organizations to identify, recruit, advance and retain attorneys of color. This organization is a godsend for students hoping to work for many of the major law firms in Boston.
Everyone is encouraged to go to www.thebostonlawyersgroup.com to register for the event.
Students are invited to join virtually to meet with many successful and prominent attorneys and recruiters for top major Boston law firms.
BLG was founded over 25 years ago by two Mintz Levin attorneys.
When several African American attorneys joined with them, their vision of advancing diversity in Boston began. The lawyers quickly discovered a demand for a collaborative endeavor with likeminded legal leaders who would be important contributors to a sustained effort.
The organization has evolved from its beginnings of only 13 members to over 40+ premier law firms, corporate law offices and government agencies. Diversity and inclusion are essential for a strong and powerful legal community.
BLG is advancing this mission in recognition of creating such a community, and Lawwly stands firmly behind them. We hope our law student readers will register for this very important and special event.
